VISIT US IN OAXACA
We have 13 spacious rooms of different categories: Standard, Junior Suite and Double Master Suite; distributed over 3 levels.
Our walls have a finish called Chukum, a natural material which is obtained from the resin that contains the bark of the Havardia Albicans tree, it is mainly found in the area of the Yucatan Peninsula, it is a semi-hard wood tree. The Maya used it formerly to produce stucco and as a coating water tanks to prevent it from filtering water.
Enjoy a pleasant view of the garden while in the pool or the cool spaces of the restaurant and lounge bar. Whatever you prefer, you will find both in our rooms and in our public areas, high-level design, quality in materials and comfortable spaces that distinguish us.
Künük was conceived as part of the environment, which is why, in our operation, we carry out reuse and recycling activities.
We have a rainwater harvesting system which is incorporated back into the subsoil, in addition to having a large percentage of permeable pavements helping to maintain the water tables.
OUR BAR AND KITCHEN
Yucatan is the land where one of the richest civilizations of Mesoamerica, the Maya, has flourished.
Synergized with our sister hotel in Oaxaca City, you can find in our bar a selection of the best mezcals in that region, as well as unique cocktails inspired by the flavors of this beautiful tropical land.
Our chef and the rest of the staff will provide you with the best service using ingredients of the highest quality including aromatic herbs from our garden and some vegetables, we bake our bread daily, we make jam and artisanal ice cream.
OUR ESSENCE IS MERIDA
Künük more than a place is an opportunity to make the best human experiences coexist, including gratitude.
That is why we are pleased to extend human greatness not only with our guests, collaborators and suppliers, but also with the communities of artisans of Yucatan and Oaxaca with whom we work to decorate our spaces and thus publicize their work.
